Drawing Dracula Daily Book Description
When reader Matt Kirkland surprised the world by creating the Dracula “internet sensation” (The New York Times) and “the coolest book club on the internet” (Fast Company) he brought Bram Stoker’s classic vampire novel to inboxes and social media in ways no one could have foreseen. It was a new book club for an old tale, and it inspired countless creative responses.
Drawing Dracula Daily is one of those responses. But it’s no ordinary endeavor. Artist Sara Barkat committed to drawing every last Dracula “entry,” for each day over the entire span of the book club. The result? Almost 200 original graphics in an inspiring visual journal.
Whether you’re reading Dracula daily online (you can do so starting in May each year), or whether you’re trying to get a lively and succinct view of Dracula as a whole, you’ll be inspired by this visual journal of the timeless vampire tale.
