It’s that time of year when the Tweetspeak team goes on holiday for two whole weeks. We began this annual practice a while back, and it’s proved to be quite enriching for our thinking and planning (and resting 🙂 ). When we come back from our respite and celebration, we’ll be bringing you a big basket of beautiful goodness in the new year!
Starting today, we’re on holiday through January 1 (returning on Jan 2), so we’re sharing a few gifts for you to unwrap while we’re away…
Yours to Unwrap
• get ready for Poetry at Work Day (2nd Tuesday in January)
• write a wish list poem and tie it up in a ribbon to unwrap and read on New Year’s (an activity of the Every Day Poems poetry club)
• catch up on your new, ongoing prompt series on poetry terms (and look forward to more in 2024!)
• enjoy a new book (Under the Pearl Moon or Drawing Dracula Daily)
• Reread your Every Day Poems favorites and copy out some lines to accompany you into the new year. If you like, put the lines on a few simple mandalas or in some simple collages
Happy Holidays, friends. We can’t wait to see you back here on January 2! 🙂
another little gift (for Poetry at Work Day! 🙂 )
