Sharmen Oswald says
The Color of Eyes
The color of eyes is the color of soul
So much depth, like
Endless water in Soloam Pool.
Restored sight to see inside
Healing does this to the person
Makes them see clearer
The color of other’s eyes.
L.L. Barkat says
Oh, I really love this part at the end…
“Healing does this to the person
Makes them see clearer
The color of other’s eyes.”
Sandra Heska King says
Hi, Sharman. Those last lines are my favorite, too. Wouldn’t it be wonderful if we could see deeper into another’s eyes–to see the soul of who they are? I guess it’s a matter of restoring our own eyes first.
Sharmen Oswald says
Yes; healthy “eyes”, healthy insight.
Bethany says
Yes, I love that too.
“Healing does this to the person
Makes them see clearer
The color of other’s eyes.”
Sandra Heska King says
Baltic Gold
The color of eyes is amber
wisdom
my cup of tea.
Sharmen Oswald says
Amber, gold, Baltic…..such depth of meaning.
Sandra Heska King says

Sandra Heska King says
Well, I muffed the prompt…:-/ Let’s try this
Baltic Gold
The color of eyes is the color of wisdom
amber
my cup of tea.
Sharmen Oswald says
Yes!
Bethany says
Ooh, I like it, Sandra.
Beverley says
The colour of eyes
Is the colour
Of things unseen
Of what seems
to be one thing
And is quite another
Where blue is grey
And green is tawny
And brown is ocean deep.
L.L. Barkat says
