A Little Mischief Poem as the Year Closes
And just like that.
Another year has come and gone.
2024 has been an eventful year, all in all. It’s been a year of losses, of transitions, of gifts and of new growth. All of these things can be true and happening at once.
The magic of well-arranged words can help us navigate this multiple-reality world we live in, and we are grateful that we have been able to share words with you this year in this space. Our community is one of the many gifts we’ve experienced together over this past year.
As the year comes to a close, the Tweetspeak team will be taking our annual holiday time to reflect, refresh, and reinvigorate, coming back to share around our 2025 theme of Creativity. We appreciate your company with us during this past year.
From our team and our families to yours, we wish you a meaningful holiday season, however you choose to celebrate.
We’ll see you back here beginning January 2.
A Mischief Poem for You While We’re Away
Mischief pine
has decked the little
bush beside me
with bronze needle
tinsel, draped her
in surprise holiday.

and the air is chill.
It’s snowing egrets
on the lake, and
I’ve slipped into
a Christmas sweater.
