I keep coming back to that “I never lost mine” line — I’ve interviewed so many drivers. If I had a nickle for every time I’ve heard “I’ve been driving for 57 years and I’ve never had a ticket…”

Yeah, I loved that play on the word “license,” since she’s talking about her poetic license but we know the stories in real life. 🙂
